Educational compliance is a division of the Qualitrain Group. It was set up 3 years ago to support associates with Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) rules & requirements. Our service aims to assist associate trainers in developing and maintaining outstanding teaching and curriculum development levels, whilst having consistent access to support and guidance regarding ESFA requirements. The service provides associate trainers with a foundation of resources, documents and support that have been designed to reflect ESFA compliance. In addition, we offer the use of a bespoke digital service/E-portfolio system, which also provides learner enrollment, recording and evidencing off the job learning and signing of Employer contracts.
Each new associate or customer to Educational compliance are assigned a dedicated contract manager to support specific needs. A primary aim of the contract manager is to offer guidance to ensure that compliance is maintained. Sharing best practice allows Educational Compliance to promote continual improvement for all of our clients.
Educational compliance implements an ESFA approved Management Information System (PIC’s) to create the candidates ILR, resulting in accurate, compliant data stored as per GDPR requirements. In addition to uploading learner data to Pics and subsequently to the ESFA for the funding claim, we will also include the relevant learner data to Digital Account System.
All Educational Compliance services are accredited to ISO systems, ISO9001 for Quality Management and ISO27001 for Information Security Management Systems.
The Educational Compliance team is well established and led by Claire Lewis, who holds 13 years of experience within Government funded training. Claire is supported by a highly trained and experienced team who collaborate closely with our clients to support ESFA compliance. The team can also provide guidance on other subject areas; Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers, tender applications, and support for Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework.
Our clients advise us that they find our range of services invaluable to support them to meet ESFA and Ofsted requirements;

“Working with Qualitrain during the last two years has been most enjoyable. Support provided is outstanding, and communication is effective and efficient. I receive reviews with my contract manager providing me with constructive feedback, which I have found beneficial in developing my skills further. Being observed by an Internal Consultant provided me with guidance on areas for improvement and strengths. Using the shared HR Toolkit, I can complete relevant training and CPD.
